I wanted to take a moment to touch base with everyone and leave you with a bit of refreshment in your quest to RISE UP! This song gives me the motivation to do hard things and make Jesus famous in every area of my life. I can only do this by the flooding of the Holy Spirit in my life.

Such a beautiful song, Sarah! I was at dinner with a girl in my small group last night and we were actually having the discussion about those moments when the Holy Spirit absolutely fills you up. Those times when your heart feels like it’s about to burst with love and joy for something that is totally out of your control and the tears or laughter just flood out. It seems that the more intentional I am about seeking God lately and letting His words and thoughts be the ones that come from my mouth, I’m feeling the Holy Spirit rise more and more. There is an amazing difference between days when I accept His work in my heart, and days that I want that control. There is a calm that brings clarity, even if just for a second.
Yes, friend! I love how you described it. For me, it is a daily and sometimes hourly decision to allow the Spirit control.
