I really must get out more

I’m out of words to write (finished my book!) so the chatty cathy in me feels like it would be easier to do a video to express why I need to get out more and why I’m enjoying the season I’m in HERE AND NOW.

How are you going to enjoy the season you are presently in?

I really must get out more — 8 Comments

  1. Hahahahaha I love and miss you, Sarah!! I was stuck in my baby cave for a while too and started going INSANE! Jack was like PLEASE make some friends! hahhahaha Anyway, we were definitely made to live in community! God rescued me with the moms group “MOPS,” so phew! I’m out of that rut! But very good point… I need to be looking for and asking what the Lord wants me to do with each season. I feel like I am just trying to make it through the season with my head still above water, so time in the word has been suffering a lot. Rey is sleeping, so yay! I’m gonna get my Bible out! WOOT! Good one! Way to turn around my day!

Miss you! Come have a conference in Georgia or something!!

  2. For some reason there is no video in your post. I just see a blank spot under the paragraph :(

How am I trying to enjoy the season? I’ve been trying to figure that out. I’d like my extended stay visitors to leave. Its making me cranky. I’m trying to find ways to enjoy them. No small task. My a favorite thing to enjoy right now is art. :)

  3. Hey Sarah, it’s amazing how your “rambling” as you called it was just the cheering up and advice I needed- enjoying right now instead of trying to rush ahead. Thanks a lot! Your writing but especially your videos have been so fun, helpful and encouraging to me!!! :)

  4. What a sweet vlog! My daughter watched it with me, and said, “That was so cute, Mommy.” Compliments from a five year old are as sincere as they come!
This season, my aim and hope is to be in constant “listening” mode. Mostly with my Savior, but also with my family and friends. My first book was released last week and after a marketing meeting last night, I feel dizzy! I know the only way to survive promoting, writing, and still being a productive wife and mother and friend is to have my ears and eyes open to the Lord’s leading at all times. I think it will take a lot of discipline and my human frailty is so evident right now. But what better place to be? Weak before the Lord who is Strength?
Looking forward to getting to know you better through your blog! I already follow you on Instagram and love “Live it Out Monday”.

  5. I’m a new reader and this is def. awesome! I can totally relate to the “my hair is clean & I have makeup on” syndrome. Sometimes, when you’re in that creative cave, looks go out the window! haha! But, I look forward to reading your book and catching up on all the past posts I’ve missed. Blessings to you as you press towards the release of your new God-given assignment! Exciting! :)
