I love the word dwell, to just be in his presence. When I think of greedy I think of my sister devouring all the apple crisp before the rest of us got a chance when I was a kid. Being greedy for His presence and being filled with Him, I then become overflowing in His love so that ALL I want to do is SHARE with everyone I know! When I'm greedy and become full, I am nicer, I love more, I have more energy to give to those around me, I'm patient, I'm kind, I'm filled with joy! Being greedy for more of God is where we all should be! Craving it, longing for it, striving to be there every single day of our lives! I don't know about you, but I've never met anyone who was full of God's love and then they kept it all to them self...when you're actually filled with Him, and filled with that JOY that comes from nowhere but the Holy Spirit Himself, it is IMPOSSIBLE to not share that..with love, with smiles, with hugs, with kindness...you want everyone you know to know that SAME LOVE!! And, i just can't be in a bad mood no matter what happens in my day...when I'm overflowing with God's extravagant love, nothing else matters..Love this, Sarah!! Here are my little comments on this topic. The word "greedy" doesn't set well with me when used as a word to describe desire for Gods word. A deeply felt devotion to the word can strengthen and direct us, encourage us, and build us up.  To be "greedy" doesn't work for mr here.  I'd be more inclined to use words like 'deeply felt passion for". For some reason greedy just popped out to me. I see what you are talking about when you say, "all in moderation" but I have to disagree a tiny bit. I totally think it is ok to be almost obsessed with wanting more of Jesus' presence IF and only IF we are out in the world spreading His love and not hoarding it away. So very glad you joined in on this convo...just what I wanted to get started. You gave me some great things to think about.
