Wanted to take a few minutes to answer a question that a Twitter friend of mine asked about how to find good, strong friends. I also talk a bit more about my book Stress Point: Thriving Through Your Twenties In A Decade Of Drama. Check out the video blog below.
Also, would love your thoughts on how YOU find good, strong friends. Leave a comment!
Girl! I have been wondering this same thing; so thank you to Hanna! I too find myself so busy with work and other commitments that I find it difficult to find (or sometimes maintain) “true” friends. Ironically our chuch doesn’t have really more than a couple people my age, as most are at least several years younger or 10plus years older. I’m somewhat in that weird inbetween stage . I also definitely need to work on being a friend and INVESTING the time. Thanks bunches for sharing this friend! :)
I know I struggled with finding the right friends while in the transition phase between living for the world and living for the Lord. One of my biggest problems though was already having this idea of exactly what my friends were supposed to be like (same age as me, not married either, loves to shop…etc., etc.), instead of asking God what friends He had for me in His plans. Once I turned it all over to Him though, He sent me the friends that were just right for me.
So true, Lisa!
Loved this, and SO excited for your book! Praying for you as your manuscript date approaches =)
Thank you Katie! Prayers much appreciated!
