Whew! HELLLOOOO Friday! Hope your week was packed with fun. Here’s this week’s LIST.

I thought I’d get a bit serious this week and list out things that I fear…

Here’s my LIST:

~Fear of Heights: I didn’t develop this fear till about age 25. Not sure why. Seeing those pick of the walk outs at the Grand Canyon gives me the heebie jeebies.

~Fear of Snakes: enough said?

~Fear of the Scale: If you’ve read Stress Point you know that I have body image issues. I work on it daily and redirect my focus to my King. I still will NOT step on a scale. If I MUST do it, at the doctor’s office, etc., I turn around, close my eyes and make the nurse swear to me that she won’t write down the number where I can see it. Yes…I need Jesus every single day to quell this fear.

~Fear of weird cotton rubbing together: Yes, this sounds so strange. I can’t stand pulling cotton balls apart. Gives me the willies!

Here’s some encouragement straight from the Bible to chew on regarding fear:

1 Timothy 1:7 “for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”

Psalm 118: 5-7  “Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?  The Lord is on my side as my helper; I shall look in triumph on those who hate me.”

Isaiah 26:3-4 “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you,because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever,for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.”
