Advent: Awe and Wonder Day 16

      Today I’m sitting with one Bible translation opened to the Old Testament, another translation opened to the New Testament and my computer screen filled with words from the Gospels of the Christmas story (New Testament, of course, too). Advent: Awe and Wonder Day 14 and 15

As much as I envisioned this series to be a perfect Advent experience, well…I dropped the ball. I’ve been sick in the bed with a stomach bug and barely and active brain cells to do much of anything. For me along this journey of Advent: Awe and Wonder, I’m learning to cut myself some slack and not beat myself up when I don’t meet my own high expectations.         *****Wow…friends…this never published like I intended it to!
