Whohoo! Friday!!
As we are coming off the Thanksgiving holiday and moving into the Christmas season, I think it is easy to get caught up in the busy-ness of life. I thought this week we might take some time to reflect on the blessings God showers on our lives. This helps us to stay grounded and keeps us from the whole “grass is always greener” frame of mind.
So, here we go…here’s my LIST: Things I L.O.V.E. about my life.
~I love that I get to work from home…sometimes in my comfy track suit sans make-up. (Not always a pretty sight!)
~I love that I get to connect with women all over the globe via the words that God gives me to write in books and on this blog.
~I love that I have a husband who loves Jesus.
~I love that the winter time (non-humid weather) affords me many good hair days.
~I love that I have a corner in my house that has all “girly” pinks, purples, turquoise, etc Christmas decor.
So this list is by far not exhaustive. I could (and should) list more and count my blessings on a daily basis.
Your turn. Take some time to LIST what you love about your life. Silly or serious. Really try hard to list as many as you can come up with. The longer the LIST, the BETTER!
Can’t wait to see your LIST! Go for it…leave a comment!

I love that you love journaling! Good stuff!
– I love having “low maintenance” friends (like Sarah talks about in her book) that look past my awkwardness.
– I love the late night/early morning “Jesus talks” my mom and I have shared over the past few months and seeing/feeling how we’ve both grown spiritually.
– I love being able to rock out to K-Love/New Life 91.9. If singing in the car were an Olympic sport, I’d be a gold medalist.
– I love the quiet moments when I can feel God near.
– I love being an aunt (no kids of my own yet) to such a sweet little blessing. My niece is a little light that already shows a love for God and others at a young age. I’m excited to see where God takes her!
– I love being active in the pro-life movement and meeting such amazing women (and men) along the way. Some are post-abortive, some aren’t….either way, they’re warriors! (May I have some prayer in this area, please?)
– I love being American, being endowed by my creator with certain unalienable rights and being able to civilly voice my opinion on issues.
– I love being a small town girl born and raised in the south and living in a state with both the beach AND mountains!
– I love the anticipation and excitement of experiencing something new. New places. New people.
