The List

In wrapping up the GET CREATIVE series I thought I would do a short video to show some of my own art pieces. See the LIST prompt below the video.

Your turn! Make a list of projects you would like to work on with your creativity now that you’ve {hopefully} been motivated to GET CREATIVE…

Here’s a list of awesome artists that I love learning from…

Junelle Jacobsen

Christy Tomlinson

  1. I love your art! I would’ve had no idea the she art was on a cereal box had you not said it, it reminds me of Marie Antoinette.

I’ve been sketching a little everyday for the post few weeks. I have to keep telling myself its good enough because I made it. I admire artists but always stop because I’m not a natural and my stuff isn’t beautiful. My motivation this time has been to let go, have fun, and be proud of what I can do! I think most of mine is more like your little watercolor sketchbook, except I’ve been using pencils. And if all I ever do is doodle in a notebook then it’ll be good enough if I’m having fun :)

I’ve done a lot of knitting and crocheting over the years and giving it to others. I just haven’t felt much like knitting or crocheting for the past few months, oh well, you can only do so much!

My last art is writing. I’ve been writing a long time but am extremely insecure about it because it doesn’t seem good enough and my ideas are simple. But I’ve out myself out there. Over the winter I entered a contest and got better feedback than I imagined and I won a critique that I’m waiting to hear back from, it’s nerve wracking bu I keep feeling myself whatever it says I’ll use it to become better!
