A Comfortable Community

From the moment that Jesus put it on my heart to reach out and encourage young adult women to LIVE OUT! the Kingship of Christ, I’ve felt this stirring in me to create a community. What does this community look like? Well, for starters we are

Real

and

Raw.

I sincerely hope that I’ve lived by example with in the words I’ve shared on this blog. I also sincerely hope that you feel comfortable in sharing your heart.

No comment goes un-read by me…

My heart is blessed by each of you, especially when you take time to click and leave a comment…

This is a space where you can share and feel safe that your thoughts are valid…

That being said, let’s continue to do this thing called community.

Hugs to all of you!

Also, I would LOVE to connect with you on my LIVE IT OUT! Facebook page. I often share little things about my day, music videos or quirky pics of my “art.”

****DON’T forget about the giveaway I’m doing of my friend Tracie Mile’s book Stress-Less Living! Click HERE for that post.

*****OOOH! I Almost forgot! Check out my article on Internet Cafe Devotions: Redefining The Party Life. It’s a bit edgy but I think you will like it.

  1. Ok here it goes….I have been having such a hard time lateley.. with my hours diminishing even more with my client because they have had to cut back.. and babysitting being so iffy.. I have been severely anxious…. Also i am seeing a therapist and i am getting to emotionally attached to her.. Now that i have told her about my past i am afraid of what she thinks of me and last week was an especially hard appt ( I dont want to go into details) But she cares soooo much about me and she shows it so now i am getting attached and this past weekend my stomch was in knots and hurting so bad… becasue of all of this. But I meet with her tommorrow and i need to tell her that i am getting too attached so we can come up with a plan.. please pray for me regarding this my appt is at 10.

    Thank you!

    • Meg, I’m so glad you shared this with us. Here’s my prayer:
Father God, I thank you for our friend Meg and her willingness to be real and raw. I pray that You will fill her up with Your comfort and peace and help her to lean on YOU first. Be with her as she meets with her therapist to set boundaries and guide and direct her as she proceeds. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
